KV Guntur Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Guntur, a school run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) under the Ministry of Education at Nallapadu, Guntur in Andhra Pradesh, is holding a walk-in interview to fill teaching and support posts on contract for the 2026-27 academic year. The drive covers TGT Social Science, Primary Teacher, Educational Counsellor, Telugu Teacher and Data Entry Operator. There is no form to post or upload — you simply turn up on the interview day with your documents. It suits trained teachers, school counsellors and computer operators in and around Guntur who want a year of KVS experience.

Posts and Disciplines

• TGT (Social Science): a middle-school social science teacher. Your degree must cover any two of History, Geography, Economics and Political Science, with one of them being History or Geography.
• Primary Teacher (PRT): teaches the primary classes. You need 10+2 with a D.El.Ed, a four-year B.El.Ed or an RCI special-education diploma, plus CTET Paper-I.
• Educational Counsellor: guides students on careers and studies. A psychology degree with a counselling certificate or diploma is the base; school counselling experience or RCI registration as a Vocational Counsellor gives you an edge.
• Telugu Teacher: teaches Telugu as a language. You must have studied Telugu as an elective or main subject for at least three years or six semesters of your degree.
• Data Entry Operator: handles the school's computer and office data work. You need 12th pass, the set English and Hindi typing speeds, and working knowledge of MS Office, spreadsheets, email, internet and Tally.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract only: All posts are purely contractual for the 2026-27 academic session, as per KVS norms.
• CTET preference for TGT: CTET-qualified candidates come first. If none turn up, the school may consider non-CTET candidates who otherwise meet the KVS recruitment rules.
• Desirable skills: Computer knowledge helps for every teaching post, and the school prefers TGTs who can teach in both Hindi and English medium. PRT candidates should have working English plus Hindi or another Indian language.
• Travel costs: No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.

The interview is held at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Nallapadu, Guntur between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM on the walk-in day. Carry your original certificates, an updated resume and a set of self-attested photocopies of all documents. Nothing needs to be sent in advance.
