IIT Delhi Project Technical Support Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has invited applications for 1 Project Technical Support post under the project titled "Elucidating Mycobacterial Glycan-Macrophage Interactions to Identify Novel Biomarkers and Develop Advanced Diagnostics for Tuberculosis" (Project Code: RM00046G). This research project is funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and is based in the Department of Chemical Engineering. The appointment is on a contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project. Who Can Apply?

You need to meet one of the following qualification requirements:

Option 1: General Graduates

• Qualification: Three-year Graduate degree in a relevant subject or field
• Experience: Three years of relevant work experience

Option 2: Post Graduates

• Qualification: Post Graduate (PG) degree in a relevant subject or field
• Experience: No specific experience requirement mentioned beyond PG

Option 3: Engineering / IT / CS Graduates

• Qualification: First Class in a four-year Graduate degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science
• Experience: Three years of relevant work experience

Note: 5% relaxation in marks may be granted to SC/ST candidates.

Salary

• Consolidated salary: Rs. 28,000 per month
• Plus HRA at 30% (approximately Rs. 8,400 per month)
• Total monthly take-home: approximately Rs. 36,400
• In case of selection of a retired or superannuated government employee, salary will be fixed as per prevailing IRD norms.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Shortlisting: IIT Delhi will shortlist candidates from those who meet the advertised qualification and requirements. The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the IRD website at ird.iitd.ac.in/shortlisted.
2. Online Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview. You will be informed about the interview date and details.

• Monitor inventory of lab supplies and coordinate procurement when needed
• Work with the research team on data analysis and reporting of results
