Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) is one of India's premier management institutions, established in 1996 by the Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Kerala. The institute has announced recruitment for 1 Support Engineer (IT) position on a contractual basis at its campus. The position is purely on contract for an initial period of six months, with further extensions based on job requirements and performance. Who Can Apply?

Post Graduates (1 Year Experience Required)

• M.Tech in Computer Engineering and Network Technology / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Network Engineering or equivalent

• You need a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience

Graduates (2 Years Experience Required)

• You need a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience

Diploma Holders (3 Years Experience Required)

• You need a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience

Good English communication skills, proficiency in MS Office and internet usage are also expected.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years
• Age Relaxation: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Ex-servicemen candidates as per Government of India rules

Salary

• You will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 26,300 per month
• This includes Rs. 2,000 towards accommodation expenses and Rs. 300 towards mobile expenses
• The engagement is on contract basis for an initial period of 6 months, extendable based on performance

Selection Process

The selection will be done through interview:

• Handle troubleshooting of computers, covering both hardware and software issues along with user-level network problem resolution
• Manage and administer LAN, WAN, and VPN network security across the campus
• Work on Linux and Windows server administration tasks
• Assist with web programming and multimedia editing projects for the institute
• Maintain proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly MS Excel, for data management and reporting
• Manage virtual environments like Zoom and WebEx, learning management software such as Moodle, and analytical tools like SPSS, Stata, and R
• Provide support for the institute's Digital Social Media Services (DSMS) platforms
• Assist with IT support for Admission and Academic Activities including MBA Courses, MDP, FDP, and other programmes
