The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta), established in 1961 as India's first IIM and an Institute of National Importance under the IIM Act 2017, is offering an opportunity to develop skills and learn as an Academic Associate. This is a contract position for up to 3 years, where you work directly with IIM Calcutta faculty on their academic work. Located at the prestigious Joka campus in Kolkata, West Bengal, this role is ideal for postgraduates looking to build an academic career or gain research experience at one of India's top business schools.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Post Graduation or equivalent in Management, Social Sciences (preference for Psychology, Sociology), Economics, Finance, Mass Communication, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics
• Candidates pursuing Doctoral Programs or Ph.D. can also apply
• You must have minimum 60% marks throughout (in all academic levels)

Skills Required

• Proficiency in MS Office tools
• Knowledge of AI tools is preferred
• Prior experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an added advantage
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi; knowledge of Bengali is preferred

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 30 years as on the date of application

Salary

• Consolidated stipend: Rs. 34,000 per month
• Stipend is revised annually based on your performance and Institute rules
• Other benefits: Library membership, computer services, option to attend courses of your choice, staff canteen, transport facility, and medical unit access on campus

Selection Process
