ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI), Division of Genetics, New Delhi has released a project interview notice under the CCF-ICAR Product Development Project. Who Can Apply?

Young Professional-II (YP-II)

• Alternative Qualification: You can also have Biotechnology, Plant Biotechnology, or M.Tech Biotechnology.
• Experience: You need more than 1 year of experience working in wheat.
• Preferred Experience: Field experimental layout, crossing, and selection work in wheat will help.

Field Assistant

• Qualification: You need to have passed Intermediate / 12th.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in field and lab work, field layout, single plant harvesting, and tagging in wheat is useful.

Common Conditions

• Contract Nature: Both posts are purely contractual, time-bound, and linked to the project.
• No Regular Claim: Selection does not give any right to claim a regular ICAR-IARI appointment later.

Age Limit

• Minimum age should be 21 years as on the date of interview.
• Maximum age limit is 45 years.
• Age Reference Date: 29 June 2026, the interview date.

Salary

• Young Professional-II: Fixed salary of Rs. 42,000 per month.
• Field Assistant: Fixed salary of Rs. 22,500 per month, with 10% increment in the third year as mentioned in the notice.
• The notice does not mention separate DA, HRA, TA, or other allowances for these project posts.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on shortlisting and interview for the project posts.
