ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI), New Delhi is hiring 1 Young Professional-I (YP-I) for a project funded by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). The Division of Floriculture and Landscaping at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI), New Delhi has released a notice for 1 Young Professional-I post under the project "Scientific Advisory and Technical Consultancy for the Development of a Sustainable Green Belt on the Central Verge of Delhi Metro". The project is funded by DMRC. This is a contractual position for an initial period of 6 months, and the work involves field surveys and GIS mapping along the Delhi Metro corridor.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• You must have a B.Sc in Horticulture or Agriculture, OR a B.Sc in Botany / Forestry / Life Sciences from a recognised university.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience in vegetation field surveys and plant data collection.
• Working knowledge of GIS mapping tools, Google Earth Pro and data digitization.
• Skill in preparing technical reports, project documentation and MS Office.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 45 years old.
• Age Relaxation: Available as per Government of India / ICAR rules.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 30,000 per month (fixed).
• No HRA is allowed, as per ICAR norms.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on a walk-in interview:

1. Document Verification: You must bring all original documents and a medical fitness certificate at the time of joining.
2. Walk-in Interview: Eligible candidates will be interviewed on 14 July 2026 at 10:00 AM.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
