The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI), New Delhi has invited applications for 1 Young Professional-I (YP-I) post under the All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Seed (Crops) - Seed Pathology (STR component) led by Dr. Atul Kumar. There is no written exam — selection is done directly through a walk-in interview. This is a great opening for fresh graduates and diploma holders who want hands-on research experience in seed pathology.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification (Essential)

• You must have a graduation degree in a relevant subject, OR
• A diploma in relevant Agricultural Sciences, Engineering or Technology.

Preferred (Desirable)

• Working knowledge of computer and MS Office
• Hands-on experience of working in a seed pathology laboratory

If you are currently employed somewhere, you will need to bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and experience certificate from your employer.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 45 years old as on the date of interview (10 June 2026).
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Women and other reserved categories get age relaxation as per ICAR / Government of India rules.

Salary

• You will get a fixed salary of Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated).
• This is a fixed amount — there is no annual increment and no other government facilities with this post.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done directly through a walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Interview: Attend the interview on 10 June 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Division of Seed Science and Technology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi.
2. Document Verification: Only candidates with the essential qualification will be interviewed. Bring all original certificates plus one set of attested copies.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

2. Attach attested copies of your mark sheets and certificates, plus two passport-size photographs.
3. Reach the venue at 9:30 AM on 10 June 2026 — reporting time. Candidates arriving after the set time will not be allowed.

• Support field and lab activities related to the project
• Follow institute rules and lab safety guidelines
