ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute Project Assistant Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI) has announced 1 temporary Project Assistant post under the DBT-funded project titled Leveraging genetic resources for accelerated genetic improvement of Linseed using comprehensive genomics and phenotyping approaches. The work is based in the Division of Plant Pathology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi. This is a project-linked job, so the post will continue only up to the project period.

The role is suitable for graduates who can support sample preparation, laboratory upkeep, and field work. You should bring or send the application form with photocopies of documents before the interview. Original documents will be checked on the interview date.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a B.Sc. or graduation in Biological Science, Agriculture, Biology or related subjects.
• Experience: Experience in sample preparation, general lab cleaning and maintenance, and field work is required as per the notification.

Salary

• Monthly stipend: Rs. 20,000.
• House Rent Allowance: 27% HRA.
• The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the DBT project.
• No regular appointment at ICAR-IARI can be claimed from this project position.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection will be done through screening and interview:
