IARI Pesticide Residues Multi Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI) is recruiting project staff for pesticide-residue research at its Pusa Campus in New Delhi. The contractual appointments support the All India Network Project on Pesticide Residues and Contaminants (AINP-PR&C) and the Monitoring of Pesticide Residues at National Level (MPRNL) project, sponsored by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

Posts and Disciplines

• Principal Project Associate (PPA): The senior project appointment in this pesticide-residue research recruitment, linked to chemistry and agricultural-chemistry specialisations.
• Young Professional-II (YP-II): A project appointment covering chemistry and agricultural sciences within the same research programmes.
• Young Professional-I (YP-I): A separate young-professional appointment in chemistry and agricultural sciences, also attached to the project work at IARI.

• Project-linked appointment: These are contractual posts. Your engagement ends with the contract or the project, whichever ends earlier; it does not create a claim to a regular appointment at the institute.
• Family declaration: If a close or distant relative works at ICAR or IARI, you must disclose their name, designation, work and relationship in writing when you attend the interview.
• Travel costs: The institute will not pay travelling or daily allowances for attending the interview. You need to make your own arrangements for the visit.
• Recruitment changes: The number of appointments may change. The project can leave posts unfilled or cancel positions even after the interview.
• Accuracy of information: Hiding facts or seeking improper influence can lead to disqualification or termination. An incomplete application will be rejected.

• Reporting time: Shortlisted applicants must arrive by 09:30 AM for certificate checks. If you report after 10:00 AM, you will not be considered for the interview.
