IARI Genetics Project Associate and Field Worker Recruitment 2026: Overview

Minimum Qualification
Field Worker: graduate degree in any discipline. Project Associate-I: Master degree in Genetics, Plant Breeding, Genetics and Plant Breeding, or Biotechnology with a 4/5-year bachelor degree. With a 3-year bachelor degree, NET (UGC/CSIR/ICAR, including lectureship), GATE or selection through a national examination conducted by Central Government departments/agencies/institutions is needed. Salary & Compensation
Pay Scale
Project Associate-I: Rs. 31,000 per month plus HRA for applicants selected through the specified NET/GATE or Central Government national examination routes, otherwise Rs. 25,000 plus HRA. Field Worker: Rs. 18,000 per month plus HRA.
Allowances
HRA is payable for both posts. No TA/DA or other expenses are paid for attending the interview.
