Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) — the first pharmacy university in India and a NAAC 'A' Grade State University of the Government of NCT of Delhi, established under Act 07 of 2008 — has released Recruitment Notice No. DPSRU/STA-GF/2026/02 for engaging teaching staff on a short-term basis. The recruitment covers four separate tracks: Assistant Professor (13 specializations), Guest Faculty (5 specializations), Nursing Faculty (6 posts), and Professor of Practice (3 specializations) — so candidates from pharmacy, management, sports science, nursing, AI in medicine, and allied health backgrounds can all apply. Candidates who had earlier applied for Professor of Practice under Advertisement No. DPSRU/MISC/2025/01 must submit a fresh application for this round.

Who Can Apply?

For Assistant Professor (Short-Term Engagement):

• You need a Master's degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant or allied subject from a recognized Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university
• You must be registered with the concerned regulatory body/council, wherever applicable to your subject
• You must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR) or an equivalent test such as SLET/SET, OR hold a PhD awarded as per UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./PhD Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 — PhD holders who meet the applicable norms are exempted from NET/SLET/SET

For Nursing Faculty (Principal / Assistant Professor / Tutor):

• You need the relevant nursing qualification and professional registration as prescribed by DPSRU for the specific post you are applying for

For Guest Faculty and Professor of Practice:

• You need a relevant postgraduate qualification and/or significant professional experience in your area of specialization

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is entirely through a walk-in interview — there is no written test:

1. Document Verification: Bring your original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies covering age, qualification, and experience, along with a passport-size photo.
2. Walk-in Interview: Report on your scheduled date and time slot and appear in person before the selection panel.
