The Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech and Hearing Disabilities (Divyangjan), an autonomous body under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, has released Employment Notification 02/2026-27. It is filling 25 contractual posts at the CDEICs in Mumbai and at CRC Ahmedabad under the SIPDA scheme. All posts are filled through a walk-in interview — if you have the right qualification and valid RCI registration, just bring your documents on the interview day.

• M.Phil. degree in Clinical / Rehabilitation Psychology

Occupational Therapist (Rs. 35,000)

• Bachelor in Occupational Therapy
• Valid registration certificate

Audiologist & Speech Language Pathologist (Rs. 35,000)

• Bachelor in Speech & Hearing / BASLP
• Valid RCI registration

Early Interventionist (Rs. 35,000)

• Post Graduate Diploma in Early Intervention / PG Diploma in Developmental Therapy / Diploma in Early Childhood Education / Special Education (IDD/ASD/MD/VI)
• Valid RCI registration

Special Educator (Rs. 35,000)

• D.Ed / B.Ed in Special Education (VI/HI/ID/ASD/MD)
• Valid RCI registration

Physiotherapist (Rs. 35,000)

• Bachelor in Physiotherapy
• Valid registration certificate

Nurse (Rs. 30,000)

• GNM / ANM

Trained Caregiver / Divyang Mitra (Rs. 20,000)

• 12th Pass with a certified course in Caregiver Education / Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID) course
• Valid registration certificate

Ayah / Cleaner (Rs. 18,000)

• 8th Pass
• Minimum 2 years of experience in child care

Activity Teacher (Part-Time) (Rs. 15,000)

• Diploma / Degree in Arts / Craft / Music / Dance
• Two years experience in training children

For most posts, experience in dealing with children with disabilities below 6 years is desirable.

Salary

• Rehabilitation / Clinical Psychologist: Rs. 40,000 per month
• Occupational Therapist, Audiologist & SLP, Early Interventionist, Special Educator, Physiotherapist: Rs. 35,000 per month
• Nurse: Rs. 30,000 per month
• Trained Caregiver / Divyang Mitra: Rs. 20,000 per month
• Ayah / Cleaner: Rs. 18,000 per month
• Activity Teacher (Part-Time): Rs. 15,000 per month

All salaries are consolidated monthly remuneration.

Application Fee

• A non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 300 per post per person is needed, drawn in favour of the Director, Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech & Hearing Disabilities (Divyangjan), payable at Mumbai.
• If you apply for more than one post, you must submit a separate application and a separate DD for each post.

Selection Process (Walk-in Interview)

Selection is done through a walk-in interview. There is no written exam.

1. Document Verification: Report at the venue with your filled application, original documents, Aadhaar card, and one set of self-attested photocopies of qualification and experience certificates. Verification time is 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
2. Walk-in Interview: Held from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm on the same day.

No TA/DA is paid for attending the walk-in interview.

• Keep records of each child's progress and treatment plans
• Work as part of the CDEIC team under the SIPDA scheme
