AIIMS Deoghar Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Deoghar is an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The institute needs Guest Faculty for its College of Nursing for the academic session. The pay is Rs. 1,000 per class per hour, and the engagement is temporary for 11 months or till regular appointment, whichever is earlier.

This is a subject-teaching assignment for nursing students, not a permanent faculty appointment. AIIMS Deoghar may increase or decrease the post count at final selection based on requirement, and the selected person will not get regular faculty benefits linked to permanent AIIMS posts.

• Guest Faculty (Statistics): 1 post for College of Nursing. Teaching load includes 15 hours for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing and up to 100 hours for M.Sc. Nursing during the academic session.
• Guest Faculty (Psychology): 1 post for College of Nursing. Teaching load is up to 50 hours for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing during the academic session.
• Guest Faculty (Sociology): 1 post for College of Nursing. Teaching load is up to 50 hours for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing during the academic session.

Total vacancies: 3 posts. The number of posts may increase or decrease at final selection depending on AIIMS Deoghar requirements.

Who Can Apply?

Guest Faculty (Statistics)

• Essential: Postgraduate degree in Statistics from a recognised university or institute.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience after the prescribed qualification.
• Desirable: Ph.D. in the respective discipline.

Guest Faculty (Psychology)

• Essential: Postgraduate degree in Psychology from a recognised university or institute.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience after the prescribed qualification.
• Desirable: Ph.D. in the respective discipline.

Guest Faculty (Sociology)

• Essential: Postgraduate degree in Sociology from a recognised university or institute.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience after the prescribed qualification.
• Desirable: Ph.D. in the respective discipline.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 50 years.
• Age date: Age will be counted as on 31 July 2026.
• Relaxation: Age is relaxable for Government servants, SC, ST, and OBC as per Government of India rules.
• Qualification date: Age and all other qualifications will be counted as on the date given in the advertisement.

Salary

• Rate: Rs. 1,000 per class per hour.
• Statistics: Maximum 15 theory hours for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing and maximum 50 theory + 50 practical hours for M.Sc. Nursing during the academic session.
• Psychology: Maximum 50 hours during the academic session.
• Sociology: Maximum 50 hours during the academic session.
• No regular benefits: The engagement does not include regular AIIMS faculty benefits, allowances, pension, gratuity, seniority, or promotion benefits.

Application Fee

• General Category: Rs. 3,000.
• OBC Category: Rs. 1,000.
• SC / ST / PwD / Women: Nil.
• Payment mode: Demand Draft only, in favour of AIIMS Deoghar, payable at Deoghar.
• Refund: Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Selection Process

AIIMS Deoghar will select Guest Faculty through document verification and walk-in interview. The interview call letter will be sent by email, so you should use a valid email address and check it regularly.

1. Application Review: AIIMS Deoghar will check the application form, documents, fee, qualification, and experience.
2. Document Verification: Bring original documents and photocopies when called for verification at AIIMS Deoghar.
3. Walk-In Interview: The interview will be held at Academic Block, 4th Floor, AIIMS Deoghar, Pin 814152. Date and time will be shared through the call letter.

No written exam is mentioned in the notice. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the document verification or interview, so you need to manage your own travel and stay.
