The Department of Microbiology at AIIMS Jodhpur has invited applications for 1 Project Technical Support-III post under the ICMR-funded Infectious Disease Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (IRDL) project, led by Principal Investigator Dr. Vibhor Tak, Additional Professor & Head, Department of Microbiology. This is a purely temporary, project-based position that is co-terminus with the project and does not confer any right to regular employment at AIIMS or continuation of service in any other project. Candidates with strong microbiology lab experience, especially from government institutions, are encouraged to apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a three-year graduate degree in BMLT plus three years of relevant experience, preferably in a government institution, OR a postgraduate degree (MSc MLT / MSc Microbiology).
• Desirable: Hands-on microbiology lab experience is preferred.
• Experience: Your experience must be gained after completing the minimum required qualification, and all educational and technical qualifications must be from a recognized, full-time Board/University.
• Already Employed: If you work in a Government or Public Sector organisation, you must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit for this post is 35 years, considered till the last date of the advertisement.
• Age concession may be given for time already served in other research projects, considered on a case-to-case basis for experienced and skilled candidates.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 28,000 per month plus 20% HRA, as per ICMR norms.
• Annual increments will be given as admissible under ICMR project guidelines.
• No other benefits or allowances apply — this is a fixed consolidated amount based on your qualifications and experience.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is entirely through a walk-in interview:

1. Document Verification: Bring your original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies related to age, qualification, and experience.
2. Walk-In Interview: Held on 25 August 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Microbiology Office, 1st Floor, Department of Microbiology, Medical College Building, AIIMS Jodhpur.

Reporting closes at 9:30 AM on the interview day — candidates arriving after that will not be entertained. No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.

• Perform microbiology laboratory tests for infectious disease diagnostics
