If you are a graduate with at least 2 years of experience as a health worker or field supervisor, you can attend the walk-in interview on 19 August 2026. The post carries a monthly pay of Rs. 30,000 and is initially for 6 months.

Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) Field Supervisor Recruitment 2026 - Walk-in Interview

The Centre for Cancer Epidemiology (CCE), part of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) under Tata Memorial Centre, is looking for a Field Supervisor to work on a community cause-of-death data collection project. TMC is a Grant-in-Aid institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, and ACTREC is its dedicated cancer research campus in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, where teams routinely run public health surveillance and cancer registry projects across different states. This particular post is under Advertisement No. CCE/Advt/274/2026 dated 4 August 2026, and no written exam is required — you just need to attend the walk-in interview with your documents.

As the Field Supervisor, you will be the link between the CCE research team and the community — visiting households, coordinating with local municipal bodies, and making sure the data collected on cause of death is accurate and reported on time. This is a good fit if you already have grassroots field experience in public health, community surveys, or Anganwadi/ASHA-linked work and are comfortable travelling within the project area.

Who Can Apply?

  • Qualification: Graduate from a recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Health Worker, Field Supervisor, or in community/public health related field activities.
  • Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications and report preparation.
  • Desirable: Experience in community-based health surveys, public health projects, data collection, or monitoring and supervision activities. Knowledge of the local language and familiarity with the municipal health system is an added advantage.

Since this is a project post and not a permanent government job, TMC does not ask for any prior government service — what matters most is your field experience in public health or community health work, and your ability to independently manage data collection and reporting.

Salary

  • You will get a monthly pay of Rs. 30,000 for this project post.
  • This is a consolidated project pay, not a regular government pay scale — no separate DA, HRA, or grade pay has been mentioned in the notice.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on a walk-in interview — there is no online application form and no written test:

  1. Document Screening: Your bio-data, original certificates, and photocopies will be checked at the venue when you report.
  2. Walk-in Interview: A personal interview will be conducted on the spot by the selection panel to assess your field experience, communication skills, and suitability for the role.
  3. Selection: Candidates found suitable at the interview will be offered the post directly — there is no separate result declaration date mentioned.

How to Apply

  1. There is no online application for this post — you need to attend the walk-in interview in person.
  2. Reach the venue on Wednesday, 19 August 2026, reporting between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

  5. Also carry a full set of photocopies of all the above documents to submit at the venue.
  6. Reach on time — candidates reporting after the interview window may not be considered.

Note: No application fee is mentioned for this walk-in interview. This is a project post, initially for 6 months or till the continuation of the project, whichever is earlier.
