The Office of the Chief District Medical & Public Health Officer-cum-District Mission Director, National Health Mission, Kalahandi has released an advertisement to fill 2 Nutritionist cum Counsellor posts under the OSH & FW Society, Zilla Swasthya Samiti, Kalahandi. No written exam is required — selection is entirely through a walk-in interview. Only female candidates with a background in nutrition or home science can apply. The engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the scheme, and the number of vacancies or remuneration may change slightly at the time of actual engagement.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a graduation degree in Food and Nutrition or Home Science (Honours or Pass).
• Gender: This post is open only to female candidates.
• Existing OSH & FW employees: If you have completed at least 3 terms (11 months each) of contractual service under OSH & FW Society with an "Outstanding" or "Very Good" performance rating in your last 3 terms, you get grace marks of 1% per completed term (up to 10%) added to your total marks.
• Already Employed in Health Department: If you are already working in the Health Department (regular or contractual), you must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer at the time of application. The NOC must be specific to this post and issued after the date of the advertisement — NOCs from any other authority will not be accepted.
• Not Eligible: Candidates disengaged earlier from the OSH & FW Society on administrative grounds such as poor performance, misbehaviour, or criminal activity cannot apply.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 65 years old as on 1 August 2026.
• Existing OSH & FW Society contractual employees who meet the performance criteria get additional grace marks (see eligibility section above).

Salary

The notification does not specify an exact remuneration figure. Selected candidates will get monthly remuneration and performance incentives (PI) as applicable under the OSH & FW Society norms, as noted at the time of engagement. Renewal of the contract depends on your performance and continuation of the programme.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection will be done through a walk-in interview:

1. Document Screening: Bring your filled application form along with self-attested copies of all supporting documents (age, qualification, and experience proofs).
2. Walk-In Interview: Held on 25 August 2026 at V.C Hall, Office of the CDM & PHO, Kalahandi.

Registration time is 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on the interview day — late comers will not be registered. If your marks are recorded as CGPA/OGPA/DGPA/GPA/CPI, you must also submit a conversion certificate to percentage at the time of application.
