The Medical Superintendent of ESIC Hospital, Jaisalmer Road, Bikaner (Rajasthan) has invited applications for 16 doctor posts across three categories — 6 Full Time Specialists, 5 Senior Residents, and 5 Senior/Junior Residents against vacant GDMO posts. All these are purely contractual engagements, for a fixed period or until regular doctors join, whichever is earlier. There is no written exam — selection is entirely through a walk-in interview, and you need a minimum of 50% marks in the interview to be selected. Who Can Apply?

For Full Time Specialists (Rs. 1,21,408/month):

• Qualification: PG Degree or equivalent with 3 years of post-PG experience, OR PG Diploma with 5 years of post-PG experience in the relevant specialty.
• Registration: Valid registration with the MCI or a State Medical Council.
• Age: Up to 69 years as on the date of interview.

For Senior Residents (7th CPC Level 11):

• Qualification: PG Degree, Diploma, or DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognised university.
• Registration: Valid registration with the MCI or a State Medical Council.
• Age: Up to 45 years for the 3-year engagement, as on the date of interview.

For Senior/Junior Resident - GDMO (Rs. 1,21,048/month):

• Qualification: PG Degree/Diploma/DNB is preferred. If such candidates are not available, MBBS candidates with experience or good clinical knowledge in any discipline are considered.
• Preference is given to candidates who have already worked in ESIC and know the online Dhanwantri module.
• Age: Up to 45 years as on the date of interview.

Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates as per government rules.

Salary

• Full Time Specialists: Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,21,408 per month.
• Senior Residents (3-year engagement): Pay as per 7th CPC Level 11.
• Senior/Junior Resident (GDMO): Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,21,048 per month (revised from time to time as per ESIC HQ instructions).
• No PF, pension, gratuity, or other regular service benefits are given for these contract posts.

Application Fee

• There is no application fee for this walk-in interview.
• If selected, Specialists, Senior Residents and GDMO Senior/Junior Residents must submit a refundable security deposit of Rs. 25,000 as a Demand Draft in favour of "ESI Fund Account No. 1", payable at Bikaner.
• This deposit is returned after you complete your contract and get a No Dues Certificate. It is forfeited if you leave before completing at least 1 year.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

ESIC selects doctors through a walk-in interview — there is no written test:

1. Document Verification: Report between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on the interview day with your original certificates and photocopies. No one is considered after 11 AM.
2. Interview: You need a minimum of 50% marks in the interview to be selected.
3. Medical Fitness Certificate: Selection is subject to you providing a medical fitness certificate from a competent authority.

How to Apply

1. Fill the application form in the prescribed format (Annexure-A) given in the official notification.
2. Attach two recent passport-size photographs.
3. Attach one set of self-attested photocopies of your certificates, and carry the originals for verification.
4. Report to the Conference Hall, ESIC Hospital, Jaisalmer Road, Bikaner, Rajasthan between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on 20 August 2026.

No TA/DA is paid for attending the walk-in interview or for joining the post.
