Who Can Apply?

Medical and Dental Faculty

• Broad specialty medical posts: You need a medical qualification listed under the Indian Medical Council Act and a postgraduate qualification such as MD/MS or an equivalent qualification in the concerned discipline.
• Super-specialty posts: You need DM or M.Ch in the concerned medical or surgical super-specialty, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Dentistry posts: You need a qualification under the Dentist Act, 1948 and a postgraduate qualification such as MDS.
• Registration: Medical or dental registration documents must be submitted wherever applicable.

Non-Medical Faculty

• Qualification: For applicable non-medical subjects, you need a Master's degree in the concerned specialty and a doctorate degree from a recognised university.

Experience Requirement

• Professor: Usually requires up to 14 years of teaching and/or research experience after the qualifying degree.

Age Limit

• Professor / Additional Professor: Not more than 58 years for direct recruitment.

• Deputation posts: Up to 58 years for SAG level and above; up to 56 years for posts below SAG level.

Salary

• Professor: Pay Matrix Level 14A, Rs. 1,68,900 to Rs. 2,20,400; up to 40% of Professor posts may get HAG Level 15 after prescribed clearance.
• Additional Professor: Pay Matrix Level 13A2+, Rs. 1,48,200 to Rs. 2,11,400.
• Associate Professor: Pay Matrix Level 13A1+, Rs. 1,38,300 to Rs. 2,09,200.
• Assistant Professor: Pay Matrix Level 12, Rs. 1,01,500 to Rs. 1,67,400; after 3 years, Assistant Professors move to Level 13 as per rules.
• Allowances: NPA is available for medically qualified faculty, and usual central government allowances apply as per AIIMS Deoghar rules.

Application Fee

• General / OBC: Rs. 3,000.
• SC / ST / EWS / Women / PwD: No fee.
• Reserved applicants applying for UR seat: Rs. 3,000 is payable as stated in the advertisement.
• Payment mode: Fee is paid to the AIIMS Deoghar State Bank of India account, and proof of transaction must be sent with the application form.

Selection Process
