All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released a vacancy notice for 1 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the Department of Physiology, under a Department of Science and Technology (DST) funded project (Project Code: D-660). The project studies quantitative EEG and MR spectroscopy-based Hindi language processing in children with developmental dyslexia, comparing them to neurotypical controls through a neurofeedback-based randomized control trial. This is a purely temporary and contractual position, valid only for the duration of the project — a good opportunity for postgraduates interested in neuroscience and clinical research at one of India's premier medical institutes.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a Postgraduate degree in Basic Science, OR a Graduate/Postgraduate degree in a Professional Course.
• Selection Route (a): You must be selected through a National Eligibility Test such as CSIR-UGC NET (including Assistant Professorship eligibility) or GATE.
• Selection Route (b): Alternatively, you can qualify through a national-level exam conducted by central government departments/agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, Ministry of Education (MoE), ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER or NISER.

Age Limit

• Your age should not exceed 30 years.

Salary

• You will get Rs. 37,000 per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as admissible.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection will be done in the following stages:
