Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), Mumbai, a grant-in-aid institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has invited applications (Advt. No. TMC/ADVT-140/2026) for tenured, non-academic Senior Resident posts at its peripheral centre, Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Visakhapatnam. The appointment runs up to 31 July 2027, and preference is given to candidates who agree to be placed at the Visakhapatnam centre only. This is a direct walk-in recruitment — you do not need to apply online or sit for a written test.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need an MD (Anaesthesiology) or an equivalent postgraduate degree.
• Nationality: Only Indian Nationals can apply.
• NOC: If you currently work in a Central/State Government, Autonomous Body, or Semi-Government organisation, you must upload a No Objection Certificate from your Head of Institution along with your original educational and experience certificates.

Age Limit

• You should be under 40 years of age.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities.

Salary

• Selected Senior Residents (MS/MD/DNB) get a consolidated salary of Rs. 1,33,623 per month.
• Shared accommodation may be provided subject to availability; hostel charges of Rs. 9,000 per month will be deducted from your salary if you opt for it.

TMC selects Senior Residents directly through a walk-in interview:

2. Walk-in Interview: Report in person at HBCH&RC, Visakhapatnam on 13 August 2026 between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM.
