The Office of Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research (IC&SR), IIT Madras, has released Advertisement No. ICSR/PR/Advt.145/2026 dated 4 August 2026 for 3 Education Program Executive posts in the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, working under the coordination of Prof. B. Ravindran. As an Education Program Executive, you will manage the day-to-day running of the department's education programs — tracking participant progress, coordinating with faculty and corporate partners, maintaining program records, and helping build institutional and corporate training partnerships. This role is based in Chennai, so applicants should already live in Chennai or be willing to relocate. It suits candidates with a background in higher education, EdTech, executive education or corporate learning rather than fresh graduates, since you will be handling program management and stakeholder coordination from day one. You will also review and validate marketing and digital media content before it goes live, and support the planning of customized corporate education programmes for the department's partners.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification (Route 1): 4-year UG degree plus any non-engineering PG degree, with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Qualification (Route 2): Any non-engineering UG degree in any discipline, with 5 years of relevant experience.
• A degree in Management, Education or a related field is an added advantage.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years in education program management, training coordination, project management or academic administration.
• Preferred: Prior experience in higher education, EdTech, executive education or corporate learning environments.
• Location: You should already reside in Chennai or be willing to relocate there.
• Skills: Strong communication, collaboration and decision-making abilities to manage multiple priorities and deliver programs smoothly.
• Only relevant experience gained after your qualifying degree is considered; the experience requirement can be relaxed at the Institute's discretion for SC/ST candidates if sufficient qualified candidates from these categories are not available.
• Day-to-day focus: You will track participant progress, manage program budgets and revenue records, and build relationships with faculty, corporate clients, academic partners and vendors.

Salary

• You will get a monthly salary of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000, depending on your experience and skills.
• This is a contractual position and the pay is fixed by the Institute; no separate allowances are mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

2. Skill Test (at the Institute's discretion): The Institute may restrict the number of candidates called forward based on qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed.
