Jharkhand Karmchari Chayan Ayog (JSSC) has released Advertisement No. 04/2026 for 6101 regular Sahayak Acharya (Para Teacher) posts across all districts of Jharkhand. This drive is reserved for serving Para Teachers under the Jharkhand Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad who have completed at least 2 continuous years of service. Jharkhand Karmchari Chayan Ayog (JSSC) Prashikshit Sahayak Acharya (Para Teacher) Recruitment 2026 - 6101 Posts
JSSC is conducting the Jharkhand Trained Assistant Acharya Combined Competitive Examination (JTAACCE) 2026 to regularize eligible Para Teachers into permanent Sahayak Acharya posts across primary (Class 1-5) and upper-primary (Class 6-8) schools. All 6101 vacancies in this notification are reserved for currently serving Para Teachers with at least two continuous years of service as of the advertisement date — this drive is not open to fresh candidates. A separate Advertisement No. 05/2026 covers 1198 backlog vacancies for reserved categories. If you qualify for both, you only need to pay one exam fee.

- Intermediate Trained Assistant Acharya (Class 1-5): 1909 posts
- Graduate Trained Assistant Acharya – Language Teacher (Class 6-8): 1868 posts
- Graduate Trained Assistant Acharya – Math & Science (Class 6-8): 1664 posts
- Graduate Trained Assistant Acharya – Social Science (Class 6-8): 660 posts
2% of ST vacancies are horizontally reserved for Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG); a further 5% horizontal reservation applies for descendants of Jharkhand movement agitators on Class III/IV posts.
Who Can Apply?
This recruitment is open only to serving Para Teachers under the Jharkhand Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad with a minimum of 2 continuous years of service as of the advertisement date.
For Intermediate Trained Assistant Acharya (Class 1-5, Level-4):
- You need a +2 (Higher Secondary) pass with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or an equivalent qualification (B.El.Ed, D.Ed Special Education, or Graduation with a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma).
- You must have qualified the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) for Class 1-5, or an equivalent CTET/neighbouring-state TET (subject to clearing JTET within 3 years of appointment).
For Graduate Trained Assistant Acharya – Math & Science (Class 6-8, Level-5):
- You need a 3-year Graduation in Science/Engineering/Technology/Agriculture with Mathematics, along with a B.Ed or equivalent, and at least two subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology or Mathematics at the +2 level.
- You must have qualified JTET for Class 6-8 in the relevant subject.
For Graduate Trained Assistant Acharya – Social Science (Class 6-8, Level-5):
- You need a 3-year Graduation in Arts, Humanities, Social Science, Commerce or Management with a B.Ed, and a qualifying JTET score for Class 6-8.
For Graduate Trained Assistant Acharya – Language Teacher (Class 6-8, Level-5):
- You need a 3-year Graduation with Hindi, English, Urdu, Santhali, Bangla, Mundari, Ho, Khadia, Kurukh, Kurmali, Khortha, Nagpuri, Panchpargania, Odia or Sanskrit as a subject, along with a B.Ed, and a qualifying JTET score for Class 6-8.
SC/ST/EBC-I/BC-II and PwD candidates get a 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks; PVTG candidates get a 7% relaxation.
Age Limit
- Your age is calculated as on 1 August 2026. The minimum age is 21 years.
- Maximum age: Unreserved/EWS - 35 years; EBC-I/BC-II (Male) - 37 years; Women (Unreserved/EWS/EBC-I/BC-II) - 38 years; SC and ST (Male & Female) - 40 years.
- Age Relaxation: Candidates with 40%+ disability get 10 extra years. Ex-servicemen get 5 extra years.
- Serving Para Teachers get age relaxation equal to their years of contract service, up to a maximum age of 58 years.
Salary
- Intermediate Trained Assistant Acharya (Class 1-5): Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month (Level-4).
- Graduate Trained Assistant Acharya (Class 6-8, all subjects): Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300 per month (Level-5).
- You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Jharkhand Government rules.

- PwD candidates with 40%+ disability (Jharkhand domicile): No fee

Selection Process (No Written Exam)
- State-Level Merit List: Your rank is based on the marks you scored in your qualifying Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET or equivalent) in the relevant subject/subject group.
- Certificate & Document Verification: You need to submit your original certificates for local residence, caste, experience and educational qualifications for verification.
There is no separate written exam conducted by JSSC for this recruitment — selection is entirely merit-based on your existing TET score.
