Who Can Apply?

Para Pump Operator:

• Qualification: Matriculation (10th) with an ITI Certificate in Electrician, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Pump Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) or Pump Operation & Maintenance trade from a recognized ITI, or Matric with a certificate in the above trade under the Skill Development Scheme.
• You must attach the detailed marks sheet of your Matric certificate along with your application.

Para Fitter:

• Qualification: Matriculation with ITI Certificate in Fitter or Plumber trade.

Multipurpose Worker:

• Qualification: Middle Pass (8th class) or above from a recognized school.

• Domicile: Only bona fide Himachali candidates are eligible for all three posts.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 45 years old as on 29 August 2026.

Salary

• Selected Para Pump Operators and Para Fitters will get an honorarium of Rs. 7,100 per month.
• Selected Multipurpose Workers will get an honorarium of Rs. 6,000 per month.
• This is an honorarium-based engagement (six hours per day) — no separate salary, DA or other allowances are payable.

Selection Process

The selection will be done through:

3. Skill Test — includes trade-specific practical knowledge (pump maintenance, pipe fitting, etc.)
4. Physical Test — you should be able to carry tools and pipes in hilly terrain, and should have no physical disability or colour blindness
