Central University of Haryana (CUH) was established under Act No. 25 (2009) of Parliament and is located in the village of Jant-Pali, District Mahendergarh, Haryana. The University has released Advertisement No. CUH/03/R/T/2026 dated 31 July 2026 for direct recruitment to teaching posts in 9 departments - Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Law, Pharmaceutical Science, Printing & Packaging Technology, Civil Engineering, Statistics and Geography. This is the third teaching advertisement CUH has issued in 2026, alongside CUH/01/R/T/2026 and CUH/02/R/T/2026, showing that the University is actively expanding its faculty strength this year. Selection is a purely merit-based, all-India process through interview - there is no written exam for these posts. PhD holders and NET/SET-qualified candidates in the relevant subject, with the required teaching or research experience, can apply. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: As per UGC Regulations, 2018 (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff) and applicable AICTE/NCTE/PCI norms for your specific department and post.
• PhD Compliance: If applying for Assistant Professor, you must submit a certificate confirming your PhD degree complies with UGC regulations for the award of a PhD.
• Foreign PhD Holders: You must attach an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
• Experience: The required teaching and research experience for Associate Professor and Professor posts varies by department, as prescribed in UGC's Career Advancement Scheme norms.
• Eligibility Date: Your qualifications and experience will be assessed as on the closing date of the advertisement.
• Citizenship: Open to Indian nationals, including Overseas Citizens of India.
• Not Eligible: Persons convicted by a court of law, persons of unsound mind, or those with a living spouse from an earlier marriage (unless legally exempted) cannot apply.

Salary

• Assistant Professor: Pay Level 10, starting at Rs. 57,700 per month under the 7th CPC UGC pay matrix.
• Associate Professor: Pay Level 13A, starting at Rs. 1,31,400 per month.
• Professor: Pay Level 14, ranging up to Rs. 2,18,200 per month (starts at Rs. 1,44,200).
• All posts carry UGC pay scales plus admissible allowances such as DA and HRA.

• UR / OBC / EWS: Rs. 1,000 (non-refundable)
• SC / ST / PwBD / Women: No fee
• Payment Mode: Online only, through credit card, debit card, net banking or the University's payment gateway.
• If you apply for more than one post or department, you must submit a separate application and pay the fee separately for each. Fees once paid will not be refunded, except if the University withdraws the advertisement.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for these teaching posts. Selection happens in the following stages:

1. Screening and Shortlisting: Your application is screened as per UGC's shortlisting and screening guidelines. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee you will be shortlisted for interview.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates appear before the duly constituted Selection Committee. The University may also assess your teaching and research aptitude through a seminar, lecture, or discussion on using technology in teaching.
3. Document Verification: You must produce original certificates and supporting documents - including proof of publications, project sanction letters and patent filings - at the time of interview or joining.
4. Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must submit a medical fitness certificate before joining.

No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview, except that outstation SC/ST/PwBD candidates get single second-class railway fare reimbursement.
