District Legal Services Authority, Hazaribag has issued a notice to engage 1 Driver to operate its official vehicle, a Mahindra Bolero. This is a purely temporary and contractual engagement — it does not carry any right to regularisation or continued service. DLSA Hazaribag has also withdrawn its earlier notice dated 2 April 2026 that had proposed hiring a driver through an outsourcing agency, and is now recruiting directly instead. If you have a valid driving license and enough hands-on driving experience, this is a straightforward opportunity to work with the district judiciary system.

Who Can Apply?

• Driving License: You must hold a valid LMV or Transport category driving license, as applicable to the vehicle.
• Experience: You need sufficient experience driving a vehicle.
• Character & Fitness: You should be of good character and physically fit and capable of carrying out driving duties.

Salary

• You will be paid the minimum daily wage notified from time to time by the Labour, Employment, Training and Skill Development Department, Government of Jharkhand.
• You will also get Rs. 100 per day as a fooding allowance, as fixed by the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA), Ranchi.

2. Fill in your personal details, driving license details, RTO, vehicle category and driving experience.
3. Attach a recent photograph and self-attested copies of your certificates.
4. Submit the filled application at the DLSA Hazaribag office on or before 12 August 2026.

Note: This is a purely temporary, contractual engagement. It can be terminated at any time by the Authority with one month's notice or one month's pay in lieu of notice, without assigning any reason.
