AIIMS Delhi Project Research Scientist Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has invited applications for the temporary post of Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical) in an ICMR-funded research project titled "Developing and implementing a community based service delivery model for early detection, speech and language training of hearing impaired children in resource limited settings of four regions in India: A mixed methods Implementation study" (Project Code: I-1799). The Principal Investigator is Dr. Chirom Amit Singh. Joining is tentatively May 2026 and the project runs up to May 2028.

Who Can Apply?

For PG / PhD Holders:

• Post Graduate degree (including integrated PG degrees) with 3 years post-qualification experience, OR
• A PhD in a relevant subject

For Engineering / IT / Computer Science Candidates:

• A 4-year graduate degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science with 3 years post-qualification experience

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • Physically Handicapped (General): 10 years
  • Physically Handicapped (SC/ST): 15 years
  • Physically Handicapped (OBC): 13 years

Salary

• Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 67,000 per month
• Plus 30% House Rent Allowance (HRA)
• Total monthly pay: approximately Rs. 87,100 (Rs. 67,000 + Rs. 20,100 HRA)

Selection Process

Selection is based on a single-stage interview:

1. Interview: Eligible candidates will be shortlisted from the applications received and called for interview by the Principal Investigator. The exact date and venue will be communicated to shortlisted candidates.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
