AIIMS Rajkot College of Nursing Faculty Recruitment 2026 - 14 Posts

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rajkot — a Central Autonomous Body under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare — has released a Rolling Advertisement (No. AIIMS/Rajkot/Admin/Recuitment/Nursing/Faculty/2023-24/1210) for 14 Group-A Nursing Faculty posts in the College of Nursing on direct recruitment basis. Online applications are invited from Indian Nationals and OCI Cardholders. 4% of the total vacancies are horizontally reserved for PwBD candidates as per the RPwD Act, 2016.

Who Can Apply?

Professor cum Principal (Level-13, Rs. 1,23,100 - 2,15,900)

• Master's Degree in Nursing with advanced specialization in Nursing from a recognised Institution/University
• Must be a Registered Nurse and Midwife
• 10 years experience in Nursing field after registration, out of which 7 years must be in nursing education or administration after obtaining the prescribed PG qualification
• Desirable: Ph.D. in Nursing

Associate Professor (Reader) in Nursing (Level-12, Rs. 78,800 - 2,09,200)

• Master's Degree in Nursing from a recognised Institution/University
• Must be a Registered Nurse and Midwife
• 8 years experience after M.Sc (Nursing) including 5 years teaching experience in Nursing
• Desirable: Ph.D. in Nursing

Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Nursing (Level-11, Rs. 67,700 - 2,08,700)

• Master's Degree in Nursing from a recognised Institution/University
• Must be a Registered Nurse and Midwife
• 5 years experience with a minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Nursing

Tutor/Clinical Instructor (Level-10, Rs. 56,100 - 1,77,500)

• B.Sc Nursing / Post B.Sc Nursing Degree from an Indian Nursing Council recognised Institute/University
• Must be a Registered Nurse/Midwife in Nursing Council
• 3 years teaching experience in Nursing
• Desirable: M.Sc Nursing / Master of Nursing Degree from an Indian Nursing Council recognised Institution

Age Limit

• Professor cum Principal: Not exceeding 55 years as on the last date of receipt of online application
• Associate Professor (Reader): Not exceeding 50 years
• Assistant Professor (Lecturer): Not exceeding 50 years
• Tutor/Clinical Instructor: Not exceeding 35 years
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST — 5 years, OBC — 3 years, PwBD — 10 years, Government Servant (as per DoPT) — 5 years, Ex-Serviceman — 5 years
• No age relaxation will be available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.

Salary

• Professor cum Principal: Level-13 of Pay Matrix — Rs. 1,23,100 to Rs. 2,15,900 per month
• Associate Professor (Reader): Level-12 of Pay Matrix — Rs. 78,800 to Rs. 2,09,200 per month
• Lecturer (Assistant Professor): Level-11 of Pay Matrix — Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month
• Tutor/Clinical Instructor: Level-10 of Pay Matrix — Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month
• All posts carry usual allowances admissible to Central Government employees of similar status (DA, HRA, TA etc.)
• Probation period for all posts is two years.

Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS candidates: Rs. 1,500
• SC / ST candidates: Rs. 800
• PwBD candidates: No fee (exempted)
• Application fee once submitted is non-refundable.

Selection Process

Selection will be done as follows:

1. Screening Test (if needed): A screening written MCQ-based examination may be conducted if the vacancy-to-candidate ratio exceeds 1:15 — applicable to all posts.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The methodology will be decided by the Selection Committee. The interview will be held at Conference Hall, Ground Floor, AYUSH Building, AIIMS Rajkot (no TA/DA paid).
3. Document Verification: Candidates called for interview must produce all original certificates and may be asked to submit a declaration/affidavit.
