Who Can Apply?

For Consultant and Professor Posts (Posts 1-19):

• Qualification: MD / DM / DNB / MDS or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by National Medical Commission in the relevant specialty
• Experience: Ranges from no experience required to 8 years post-PG depending on the level and post

For Medical Physicist Posts (Posts 20, 22-23):

• Qualification: M.Sc (Physics) with Diploma in Radiological Physics conducted by BARC or equivalent AERB-approved qualifications
• Experience: 1 to 10 years depending on the level

For Scientific Officer Posts (Posts 21, 24-27):

• Qualification: Ranges from M.Sc with Diploma in Medical Lab Technology to Ph.D in relevant field
• Experience: 1 to 3 years depending on the post

For Nursing Posts (Posts 28-30):

• Qualification: B.Sc (Nursing) OR Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing) OR General Nursing and Midwifery plus Diploma in Oncology Nursing from a recognized university
• Registration: You must be eligible to register with the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council
• Experience: Nurse A needs 1 year, Nurse B needs 6 years, Nurse C needs 12 years of clinical experience in a hospital

For Scientific Assistant C (Post 31):

• Qualification: B.Sc (Physics) with Post Graduate Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology OR B.Sc (Radiotherapy Technology)
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in Modern Radiotherapy Technology

For Technician C - Endoscopy (Post 32):

• Qualification: 12th Standard in Science plus Diploma in Endoscopy Techniques from a government-recognized institution
• Experience: 3 years in Gastroenterology Department of a large hospital

For Technician A - Housekeeping (Post 33):

• Qualification: 12th Standard plus Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management from a reputed institute
• Experience: 1 year in the relevant field

For Cook A (Post 34):

• Qualification: 10th Standard plus certified craft course in Food Production, Bakery or Cookery
• Experience: 2 years in Food Production department of a 3 or 5 Star Hotel

Age Limit

• Age varies by post -- minimum 27 years (for Nurse A, Technician A, Cook A) up to 50 years (for Consultant F)
• Age is calculated as on 10 April 2026
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• OBC: 3 years relaxation
• PwBD: 10 years relaxation (additional 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
• Ex-Servicemen: Length of service in Armed Forces plus 3 years (additional relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per government rules)
• TMC employees on temporary, project, or contract basis get a maximum of 5 years relaxation

Salary

• Consultant F (Level 13): Rs 1,23,100 per month + allowances
• Consultant E / Asst Prof E / Medical Physicist E (Level 12): Rs 78,800 per month + allowances
• Consultant D / Scientific Officer D / Medical Physicist D (Level 11): Rs 67,700 per month + allowances
• Medical Physicist C / Scientific Officer C (Level 10): Rs 56,100 per month + allowances
• Nurse C (Level 9): Rs 53,100 per month + allowances
• Nurse B / Scientific Officer SB (Level 8): Rs 47,600 per month + allowances
• Nurse A / Scientific Assistant C (Level 7): Rs 44,900 per month + allowances
• Technician C (Level 4): Rs 25,500 per month + allowances
• Technician A / Cook A (Level 2): Rs 19,900 per month + allowances
• Additional allowances include DA, HRA, TA, medical facility, accommodation (subject to availability), and retirement benefits as per Central Government rules
• Officers are eligible for incentives based on individual and institutional performance

Selection Process

The selection process depends on the post you are applying for:

1. For Consultant and Professor Posts (Posts 1-24): Interview only. No written examination is required for these senior medical and scientific positions.
2. For Scientific Officer, Nurse, and Mid-Level Posts (Posts 25-27 and 31): Written Examination (100 marks, MCQ/Subjective format) followed by Interview. Questions will be based on your area of specialization.
3. For Nurse and Technical Posts (Posts 28-30 and 32-34): Written Examination (100 marks, MCQ format) followed by Skill Test. The skill test is qualifying in nature -- you just need to pass it.

• Handle patient care activities including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting doctors during procedures in the oncology department
• Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment such as endoscopy machines, radiotherapy devices, and diagnostic imaging systems as per assigned role
• Prepare and maintain accurate medical records, case sheets, discharge summaries, and other clinical documentation
• Follow standard infection control protocols, biosafety guidelines, and hospital SOPs at all times
• Assist in research activities, clinical trials, data collection, and biostatistical analysis as required by the department
• Manage laboratory samples, conduct diagnostic tests, and ensure quality control in pathology, biochemistry, and microbiology laboratories
• Prepare food as per nutritional guidelines and dietary requirements for patients, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive cancer care
