TMC, a Grant-in-Aid Institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has released a walk-in interview notification (Advertisement No. AD/VAR/2026/13, dated 10 August 2026) for one Medical Officer 'E' (Medical Oncology) Solid Tumor post at the Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Centre (MPMMCC), BHU Campus, Varanasi. This is an ad-hoc position for 6 months, or until a regular post is filled, whichever is earlier. Outstation candidates can attend the interview online by emailing their documents in advance — a rare convenience for a walk-in recruitment, and a good opportunity for oncologists across India to join a premier cancer institute without necessarily having to travel to Varanasi first. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: D.M./D.N.B. (Medical Oncology) or an equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by the National Medical Commission.
• Experience: At least 1 year of post-D.M./D.N.B. experience in the Medical Oncology field is required — this recruitment is not open to fresh D.M./D.N.B. graduates without this experience.

Once you join TMC, you will be given an academic designation such as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, as per National Medical Commission norms — the exact designation depends on your qualifications and experience at the time of joining.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 45 years old as on the walk-in interview date, 14 August 2026.

Salary

• You will get a monthly remuneration of Rs. 1,44,000 for this ad-hoc post.
• This is a fixed monthly amount for the duration of your 6-month appointment.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is through a walk-in or online interview — there is no written test at any stage:

1. Walk-in Interview: Held on 14 August 2026 between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM at MPMMCC, BHU Campus, Varanasi.
2. Online Interview (Outstation candidates): If you cannot travel, email your resume and documents before 13 August 2026, and you will be contacted for an online interview if you are shortlisted.
