SGPGIMS Deputy Chief Security Officer Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

SGPGIMS has released Advt. No. I/07/Rectt/2026-27 dated 07 May 2026 for a Group A Deputy Chief Security Officer post at its Lucknow campus. This recruitment is not a fresh direct-entry job; it is a deputation post for 3 years, extendable by up to 2 more years at the discretion of the appointing authority. The post suits experienced officers who have handled security work, public order situations, employee agitations, or similar field duties.

Who Can Apply?

• Current post condition: You should be holding an analogous post, or you should have 5 years of regular service in PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs. 5,400 or above.
• Preferred experience: SGPGIMS prefers officers with experience in security work, handling agitations, and handling employee strikes.
• Deputation period: The normal deputation period is 3 years. It can be extended by 2 years if the appointing authority allows it.
• Reservation benefit: Reservation benefits will follow Uttar Pradesh Government rules, and only Uttar Pradesh domiciles can claim reservation benefit.

Age Limit

• Maximum age is 55 years.
• The age will be counted as on 01 January 2026.
• SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories will get age relaxation as per Uttar Pradesh Government rules.

Salary

• The post carries Pay Level-11 under the 7th CPC pay matrix.
• Monthly pay range is Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700.
• You will also get DA, HRA, transport allowance, and other allowances as applicable under institute and government rules.
