SCI Junior Court Assistant Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Supreme Court of India (SCI) is preparing a recruitment panel for Junior Court Assistant posts in its Registry in New Delhi. These are Group B non-gazetted positions, and the advertised openings are tentative. The Registry can change the recruitment's scope to meet its administrative needs, so inclusion in the process does not by itself guarantee an appointment.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Provisional participation: Your admission throughout the recruitment remains provisional. If your information does not meet the notice's requirements, the Registry can cancel your candidature even after you have taken part in assessments.
  • Reservation framework: Reservation follows the Supreme Court's applicable staff service and conduct rules. You cannot change the category entered in your application later, so check that choice before final submission.
  • Accuracy matters: False information, impersonation, fabricated records or concealment of relevant facts can lead to disqualification or cancellation of appointment. These conditions continue to apply during probation and after confirmation.
  • Changes to the recruitment: The competent authority can restrict, expand, alter or cancel the process when needed. The number of openings can also change according to the Registry's requirements.
  • Application finality: Once you submit your form, you cannot edit or withdraw it. If you send more than one application, only the latest submitted application number will be considered.
  • Test-city allocation: You can state your preferred cities, but the Registry may allocate another city for administrative reasons. Requests to change the allotted city, centre or assessment dates will not be accepted.
  • Travel arrangements: You must cover your own travel for the assessments. The Registry will not pay travel or daily allowances for attendance.
  • Communication: Keep your registered email address and mobile number active throughout the recruitment. Updates will appear on the court website and can also arrive by email or SMS.
  • Admit cards: You must download your call letters from the court website. They will not arrive by post, and you should keep your application number available for access.
  • Employment changes: If you take up employment during or after the recruitment process, inform the Recruitment Cell promptly at recruitment.cell@sci.nic.in. The notice treats failure to disclose that change as a matter the Registry can act on.
  • Disputes: Any dispute connected with this recruitment falls under Delhi jurisdiction.

Application Submission Notes

The online application link will be made available through the Supreme Court website when registration opens. Keep your completed form for your own records; you do not need to post its printout to the Registry.
