RITES Limited has released notification for 1 Senior Manager (SHE) post at its Mumbai project site. RITES Senior Manager (SHE) Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Rail India Technical and Economic Service Limited (RITES), a Miniratna Category-I PSU under the Ministry of Railways, is looking for an Individual Consultant to work as Senior Manager in the Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) domain. The selected candidate will be deployed at a client's construction site in Mumbai. This is a walk-in style recruitment where shortlisted candidates will appear for interview on 27 March 2026 at the RITES Regional Office in Mumbai or through video conferencing. Engineering professionals with construction safety experience should apply before the deadline.

Who Can Apply?

Option 1 - Degree Holders (Rs. 81,500/month):

• Qualification: Graduate Degree in Engineering from a recognized university, along with a Construction Safety Certificate from a reputed institute.
• Preferred Discipline: Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering graduates will get preference.

Option 2 - Diploma Holders (Rs. 65,200/month):

• Qualification: Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institute, along with a Construction Safety Certificate from a reputed institute.
• Preferred Discipline: Diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering will be preferred.

Experience Requirements:

• Total Experience: You need at least 5 years of overall work experience.
• Relevant Experience: Out of those 5 years, at least 2 years must be in a similar Senior Manager-level safety position.
• Eligible Assignments: Your experience should be in construction of passenger handling terminals like railway stations, metro stations, RRTS/HSR/Monorail stations, airport terminals, bus terminals, OR in construction of commercial/institutional real estate projects such as hospitals, hotels, shopping complexes, educational institutions, office complexes with RCC or steel structures including internal installations like electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and lifts.
• Completed Assignments: You must have completed at least 1 eligible assignment as described above.
• Desirable: Candidates rated as highly capable and competent with good knowledge of local environment and language will be preferred. Preference will also be given to Civil Engineering degree/diploma holders.

Note: Training periods, internships, teaching experience, academic fellowships, and PhD research will not count towards the experience requirement.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 63 years as on 25 March 2026 (last date of application).
• No minimum age has been specified.

Salary

• Degree Holders: Rs. 81,500 per month (fixed monthly payment for services)
• Diploma Holders: Rs. 65,200 per month (fixed monthly payment for services)
• Payment is released within one week after completion of the month, based on attendance.
• This is a consultant engagement. You will not get statutory benefits like PF, ESI, or Gratuity.
• No TA/DA will be provided for joining the assignment or attending the interview.
• If the contract extends beyond one year, the remuneration may be reviewed annually based on client fee escalation.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Document Scrutiny / Verification: All candidates who submit their online application will be provisionally allowed for document verification. Your educational qualifications and experience will be checked against the eligibility criteria.
2. Personal Interview: Only candidates who clear the document scrutiny will be called for interview. You will be evaluated on technical skills, subject knowledge, experience, communication, and interpersonal skills. The interview will be held on 27 March 2026 at RITES Regional Office, Mumbai (5th Floor, Regent Chamber, Nariman Point, Mumbai - 400021) or through video conferencing.

Important: The final engagement is subject to approval of your CV by the client. Selected candidates whose CVs are approved by the client will receive the Engagement Letter.
