Rail India Technical and Economic Services Limited (RITES), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has invited online applications for the post of Assistant Manager. These posts are in two specializations: Public Address and Passenger Information System (PAPIS) and Passenger Screen Door (PSD). The job is based in Gurugram, Haryana.

Who Can Apply

You need a full-time Diploma or a B.E./B.Tech degree in one of these subjects:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Electronics and Telecommunication (E&TC)

Minimum marks required:

• UR and EWS candidates: 60% marks
• SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates: 50% marks

Experience required:

• If you have a Diploma: minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
• If you have B.E./B.Tech: minimum 2 years of relevant work experience

Age Limit (as on 12 March 2026)

• Maximum age: 40 years
• SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation (up to 45 years)
• OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation (up to 43 years)
• PwBD candidates: 10 years relaxation (up to 50 years)

Salary

The pay scale is Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000 per month (IDA scale). You will also get Dearness Allowance (DA), HRA or Lease facility, 23% allowances on basic pay, Provident Fund (PF), and gratuity benefits.

Selection Process

There is no written exam for this post. Selection is done in 3 stages:

1. Document Scrutiny
2. Interview
3. Medical Examination

In the interview, 65% weightage is given to technical proficiency and 35% to personality and communication skills. Tentative interview dates are 17 and 18 March 2026.

• Plan, install, and maintain Public Address and Passenger Information Systems (PAPIS) at railway stations and transit facilities
• Oversee the installation and operation of Passenger Screen Doors (PSD) on metro or rail platforms

• Carry out technical inspections and ensure systems meet quality and safety standards
