District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Umaria Driver Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The District Legal Services Authority, Umaria has released a notification to fill 1 Driver post on a contract basis under the grant of the National Legal Services Authority. The driver will operate a multi-purpose vehicle for the Authority. Candidates with mechanical knowledge will be given preference. This is a contract job for an initial period of 2 years, which can be extended based on good performance.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed 8th class from a recognised board.
• Driving Licence: You must hold a valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) driving licence.
• Experience: You should have experience in driving a vehicle (an experience certificate is required).
• Preference: Candidates who also have a mechanic qualification will be given preference.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 40 years old.

Salary

• You will get a fixed salary of Rs. 12,000 per month.
• This is the rate fixed for a Class C area (towns with population under 2 lakh) like Umaria.
• You will also be eligible for 13 days of casual leave in a calendar year.

Selection Process

The driver will be selected through a fair, transparent and merit-based process in two steps:

1. Personal Interview: Conducted by the selection committee set up by the Principal District and Sessions Judge / Chairman, DLSA Umaria.
2. Practical Driving Test: You will have to show your driving skills in a practical test.

After the documents are checked, a list of eligible and non-eligible candidates will be put up on the DLSA Umaria notice board. Eligible candidates will then be called for the interview and driving test with prior notice.
