OIL Consultant Land and Coordination Recruitment 2026: Overview
Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna public sector company, is engaging a Consultant for Land and Coordination for its Mahanadi Basin Project in Bhubaneswar. This contract role supports the land arrangements and coordination needed for the company’s hydrocarbon exploration work. The assignment connects OIL with landowners, Odisha government departments and district authorities, including matters involving land leases and permanent acquisition.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Initial engagement: Your contract starts with a six-month term. It may be extended through three further six-month terms, up to a total of two years. Extensions depend on the company’s needs, your performance, fitness and conduct.
- Base and deployment: The named posting is the Mahanadi Basin Project in Bhubaneswar. OIL may also ask you to work at other locations under its requirements and policies, so the assignment carries flexibility beyond the base office.
- Office schedule: You will follow the working hours used by OIL’s regular officers. Normal company holidays apply, but urgent work may require attendance on a weekly day off or a holiday, without an extra payment for that attendance.
- Leave: You receive ten days of paid leave for each six-month period, worked out proportionately. Unused leave cannot be accumulated or exchanged for cash. This condition applies to the leave available during your consultancy.
- Other assignments: During this engagement, you cannot take up another assignment with an organisation, institution or government agency. Keep this restriction in mind if you currently have other consultancy commitments.
- Accommodation: You must arrange your own accommodation after selection. The notice also rules out reimbursement for joining, so your move to the posting location needs to take that condition into account.
- Selection travel: OIL will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending the selection interaction. Official tours during the contract have separate provisions, recorded in the compensation details.
- Accuracy of information: The application declaration makes you responsible for the correctness and completeness of the information you provide. False or incorrect particulars can lead to cancellation of the appointment.
Application Submission Notes
Send your application by email to con_app@oilindia.in, using the form attached to the official advertisement. OIL rejects applications that use a different format, so a standalone CV does not replace that form.
The form includes a relevant-experience write-up of no more than 300 words. Give a working email address and mobile number: OIL will email shortlisted applicants with the mode, date and time of their personal interaction.
