Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released a notice to engage project staff for its Vigyan Jyoti Phase-VII project for the academic year 2026-27. Both posts will primarily work out of the Project Office at NVS, Noida, though NVS can assign you to any other location as the project requires. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in science outreach programmes and project management. Both posts are engaged for a period of one year on contract, or co-terminous with the project, whichever ends first.

Who Can Apply?

For Project Scientist-I (Rs. 56,000/month + HRA):

• You need a Doctoral Degree in Science, or a Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent.
• This is a project role, not a regular teaching or research post — you'll support the Vigyan Jyoti science outreach initiative.

For Accountant (Rs. 40,000/month, Consolidated):

• You need a B.Com degree from any recognized university.
• Desirable: 3 years of experience in accounts work in a Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Organization. This experience is not mandatory, but it will strengthen your application.

Age Limit

• Project Scientist-I: Upper age limit is 40 years.
• Accountant: Upper age limit is 35 years.
• Age is counted as on 1 August 2026.

Salary

• Project Scientist-I: Rs. 56,000 per month plus HRA.
• Accountant: Rs. 40,000 per month (Consolidated).
• Both amounts are fixed for the engagement period since these are project-based, contractual posts.
