National Institute of Technology Meghalaya, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, has notified Guest Faculty posts for its B.Sc-B.Ed / education programme. The recruitment is for Associate Professor and Assistant Professor level guest faculty roles in Foundations of Education and Art Education. This is a temporary contractual teaching opportunity at the NIT Meghalaya campus in Sohra, Meghalaya.

Who Can Apply?

Associate Professor - Foundations of Education

• Education: Postgraduate degree in Sciences, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Commerce or Languages with at least 55% marks.
• Professional qualification: M.Ed. with at least 55% marks.
• Research qualification: Ph.D. in Education is required.
• Experience: You need around 10 years of teaching experience in a Teacher Education Institution.
• Desirable: Diploma or degree in Educational Administration or Leadership.

Assistant Professor - Foundations of Education

• Education: Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks.
• Professional qualification: M.Ed. with at least 55% marks.
• Eligibility test: NET or SET, or Ph.D. in Education, as per the applicable norms.

Assistant Professor - Art Education

• Education: Postgraduate degree in Performing Arts or Visual Arts with at least 55% marks.
• Eligibility test: NET or SET, or Ph.D. in Arts.
• Additional requirement: M.A. in Education with specialization in Art Education.
