The E-Cell was set up to give Meghalaya's persons with disabilities a real shot at self-employment, and this recruitment is meant to add fresh, energetic professionals to that mission. The Government of Meghalaya's State Resource Centre on Disability Affairs, functioning under the Office of the Additional CEO, SSIRPD & UDID Project, has released a notification for 3 Young Professional (Livelihood Coordination and Support) posts. The role sits within the E-Cell — a special unit set up to promote entrepreneurship and livelihood generation among persons with disabilities — and focuses on strengthening livelihood coordination and business support across East Khasi Hills and Garo Hills. Only candidates domiciled in Meghalaya's Khasi Hills region can apply, since this is a state-specific engagement aimed at building the state's disability-led enterprise ecosystem rather than a general open-to-all-India post. If selected, you will work closely with local entrepreneurs, government departments, and partner organizations to help disabled entrepreneurs register, incorporate, and grow their businesses.

Who Can Apply?

You need a postgraduate degree in a management or social work stream. Any of the following qualifications will make you eligible:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Livelihood Management / Business Management (PGDM / PGDBM)
• Master of Rural Management (MRM) or PGDM in Rural Management (PGDM-RM)
• Master of Management Studies (MMS)
• Master of Social Work (MSW) with specialization in Social Entrepreneurship or Livelihoods
• Any other equivalent MBA-level qualification

There is no separate desirable qualification listed — meeting any one of the above degrees is enough to apply, as long as you also meet the domicile and age conditions below.

Experience

• Freshers can apply, but preference will be given to candidates with at least 1 year of experience in livelihood promotion, micro-enterprise incubation, or entrepreneurship development.
• Prior work exposure or engagement in the disability sector is a strong plus.
• A proven track record in project management, program coordination, and official liaisoning with government departments and partner organizations will strengthen your application.

Domicile Requirement

• You must be a domiciled resident of Meghalaya, specifically from the Khasi Hills region.
• You will need to upload your Voter ID with your application and present it again at the time of the interview.
• Candidates from outside Meghalaya, or from other regions of the state, are not eligible for this particular engagement.

Age Limit

• You should not have crossed 32 years of age as on 1 January 2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get relaxation up to 37 years.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 22,000.
• This is a fixed consolidated pay for the full one-year engagement — the notification does not mention any separate DA, HRA, or other allowances.
• Your pay will not increase during the year — it stays at Rs. 22,000 per month for the entire one-year term unless SRCDA issues a separate revision.
• As a purely temporary/contractual engagement, you will not get the benefits admissible to regular government employees.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

SRCDA will select candidates in 2 stages:

1. Scrutiny and Screening: Your application will first be screened for eligibility. The list of eligible and suitable candidates will then be published on the SRCDA website on 16 July 2026. No separate call letters will be sent, so keep checking the website regularly.
2. Interview: If shortlisted, you must bring your original testimonials and one photocopy set to the interview. The exact interview date, time, and venue will be announced later on www.megsrcda.in — the university advises candidates to check the website from time to time.

No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview. Since this is a state government engagement and not a permanent civil service post, the selected candidates will not get the job security or benefits of a regular government job.
