Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), a grant-in-aid institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. TMC/AD/70/2026 for 62 permanent posts spread across its units in Mumbai, Guwahati, Varanasi, Muzaffarpur, Sangrur (Punjab), New Chandigarh (Punjab) and Navi Mumbai. The recruitment covers 13 Medical Officer specializations (from Radiodiagnosis to Palliative Medicine), along with Scientific Officers, Scientific Assistants, Nursing Superintendents, Technicians, Administrative & Finance Officers and an Assistant Security Officer post. Indian citizens, OCI card holders and eligible foreign nationals can apply — this is one of the largest multi-department recruitment drives at TMC this year.

• Uro-Oncology, Geriatric Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Anaesthesiology, Plastic Surgery, Pulmonary Medicine, Head & Neck Oncology, Nuclear Medicine: 1 post each

Who Can Apply?

Medical Officers (Level 11-13A):

• You need an M.D. / D.N.B. / M.Ch. or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by the National Medical Commission in the relevant specialization.
• Experience required ranges from 0 to 13 years post-postgraduation depending on the post and pay level.

Scientific Officer / Scientific Assistant (Level 6-12):

• You need an M.Sc. / B.E. / B.Sc. or equivalent degree in the relevant subject (Nuclear Medicine, Library Science, Computer Science, Biochemistry, Radiodiagnosis, Pathology, Microbiology, etc.), with 1 to 13 years of relevant experience depending on the post.

Nursing Superintendent / Assistant Nursing Superintendent (Level 10 & 12):

• You need a B.Sc. (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) or GNM plus Diploma in Oncology Nursing, with 10 to 15 years of hospital experience including administrative experience.

Technician (Level 2 & 4):

• You need 10th/12th Std. plus a relevant ITI trade certificate (Electrician, Plumber, Electronics) or a Dental Hygienic Diploma, with 3 years of relevant experience.

Administrative & Finance Officers (Level 7-9):

• You need Graduation with minimum 50% marks and 8 to 15 years of work experience in Central/State Government, PSU or Autonomous Body administration or finance roles.

Assistant Security Officer (Level 6):

• You need to be a Graduate with NCC 'C' Certificate (for civilians) or have 15 years of service as Havildar/Sergeant/Petty Officer or above (for Ex-servicemen), plus 5 years of security experience in a large organization.

Age Limit

• Age limit varies by post, from 27 years (Technician posts) up to 55 years (senior Medical Officer posts).
• Age is calculated as on 6 August 2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST get 5 years, OBC gets 3 years, PwBD gets 10 years (plus an additional 5 years for SC/ST or 3 years for OBC), and Ex-servicemen get their length of service plus 3 years.

Salary

• Technician (Level 2): Rs. 19,900 per month
• Technician (Level 4): Rs. 25,500 per month
• Scientific Assistant / Assistant Security Officer (Level 6): Rs. 35,400 per month
• Administrative & Finance Officer (Level 7): Rs. 44,900 per month
• Scientific Officer (Level 8): Rs. 47,600 per month
• Deputy Administrative Officer / PR Officer (Level 9): Rs. 53,100 per month
• Assistant Nursing Superintendent (Level 10): Rs. 56,100 per month
• Medical Officer 'D' (Level 11): Rs. 67,700 per month
• Medical Officer 'E' / Nursing Superintendent Grade II / Scientific Officer (Level 12): Rs. 78,800 per month
• Medical Officer 'F' (Level 13): Rs. 1,23,100 per month
• Medical Officer 'G' (Level 13A): Rs. 1,31,100 per month
• All posts also get DA, HRA, TA and other allowances, plus retirement benefits and pension as per TMC rules.

Physical Standards (Assistant Security Officer Post)

Minimum Height:

• General: 167 cm
• Hill areas (Garhwal, Kumaon, HP, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Kashmir Valley, Leh & Ladakh, North East, Sikkim): 165 cm
• ST: 162.5 cm

Chest (Unexpanded / Expanded):

• General & Hill Areas: 80 cm / 85 cm
• ST: 77 cm / 82 cm

A valid driving license for LMV and two-wheelers is required for this post.

Application Fee

• All Categories: Rs. 300 (online via Debit/Credit Card)
• Exempted: SC / ST / Female candidates / Persons with Disabilities / Ex-servicemen (applying for the first time after service) do not need to pay the fee.
• The fee once paid is not refundable.

Selection Process

The selection method depends on the post:

1. Medical Officer, Nursing Superintendent & Assistant Nursing Superintendent posts: Direct Interview (no written exam).
2. Scientific Officer, Scientific Assistant & Administrative/Finance Officer posts: Written Examination (100 MCQs, 100 marks) + Interview (weightage: 60% written, 40% interview).
3. Technician posts: Written Examination (100 MCQs, 100 marks) + Skill Test (qualifying only).
4. Assistant Security Officer post: Physical Endurance Test + Written Examination (Subjective/Objective, 100 marks) + Skill Test (qualifying only).

Written exam questions are based on your area of specialization or expertise. TMC reserves the right to fix cut-off marks and limit the number of candidates called for each stage.
