The Ministry of Cooperation (MoC), Government of India, has invited applications for its Young Intern Scheme 2026. This is a great chance for fresh Graduates and Post Graduates to gain hands-on experience in government policy work. The internship is based at the Ministry’s office in CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

What is this Internship About?

The Ministry of Cooperation works on policies related to cooperatives in India. As a Young Intern, you will work on projects in one of five key areas. This internship lasts up to 6 months. You will get a monthly stipend and valuable work experience in a Central Government Ministry.

Categories and Stipend

• Category A (Graduate): Rs. 15,000 per month
• Category B (Post Graduate): Rs. 20,000 per month
• Performance Incentive: Rs. 5,000 per month extra from the Cooperative Education Fund (CEF)

5. IT (Information Technology)

You can apply for only 1 discipline. Choose carefully before applying.

Who Can Apply?

• Category A: Candidates who have completed Graduation or are appearing in the final year
• Category B: Candidates who have completed Post Graduation or are appearing in the final year

No prior work experience is needed. Freshers can apply.

How to Apply

2. Download and read the full notification carefully
3. Prepare your application as per the format given in the notification
4. Send your application by email to cet.division-coop@gov.in
5. You can apply only once per financial year

Important Things to Know

• You must bring your own laptop. The Ministry will provide workspace and internet.
• You need a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your Supervisor, HOD, or Principal at the time of joining.
• The Ministry will give you an experience certificate after you complete the internship.
• This internship does not give any claim for a regular government job.
• No application fee has been mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process

There is no written exam. An Internal Scrutiny Committee of the Ministry will select candidates based on merit. Document verification will be done at the time of joining.
