All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rajkot, an autonomous body under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has released a detailed rolling notification for 8 non-faculty posts on deputation (ISTC) basis. This recruitment is only for serving government officers — private candidates are not eligible to apply. Who Can Apply?

All posts are on deputation (ISTC) basis. You must be a serving officer in Central/State/UT Government, Universities, Statutory or Autonomous Bodies, PSU, R&D Organization or Police Departments.

1. Medical Superintendent (Level 14)

• Medical qualification listed in I or II Schedule (or Part II of Third Schedule) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
• PG qualification: MD/MS or equivalent, OR M.H.A. (Masters in Hospital Administration) recognised by MCI
• Experience: 10 years of hospital administration experience in a senior position after the PG degree, preferably in a hospital with 300 beds

2. Superintending Engineer (Civil) - Level 13

• Officers holding analogous posts, OR
• Executive Engineers with 5 years service in Grade Pay 7600 (Level 12), OR
• Executive Engineers with 10 years service in Grade Pay 6600 (Level 11)

3. Assistant Controller of Examination - Level 11

• Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis, OR
• 5 years regular service in PB-3 with Grade Pay 5400 (Level 9 and above)

4. Executive Engineer (Electrical) - Level 11

• Executive Engineers or Assistant Engineers (Electrical) with 8 years regular service in CPWD (Level 10 and above)
• If suitable CPWD candidates are unavailable, similar officers from other Central Government engineering departments will be considered
• Officer must hold a Degree in Electrical Engineering

5. Nursing Superintendent - Level 11

• Officers of State/Central Government or Statutory/Autonomous Bodies holding analogous posts, OR
• Deputy/Assistant Nursing Superintendent with 5 years regular service in Grade Pay 5400 (Level 9 and above)

6. Administrative Officer - Level 10

• Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis, OR
• 2 or 3 years regular service in Grade Pay 4800 or 4600 (Level 8) respectively in the relevant field

7. Assistant Administrative Officer - Level 7

• Officers holding analogous posts, OR
• 5 years regular service in Grade Pay 4200 (Level 6) with a Degree from a recognised university
• Desirable: MBA/PG Diploma in Management, knowledge of Government Rules, Computer proficiency

8. Assistant Accounts Officer - Level 7

• Officers holding analogous posts, OR
• Junior Accounts Officer with 5 years regular service in Grade Pay 4200 (Level 6)

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 56 years as on the last date of receipt of application
• The period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years

Salary

• Medical Superintendent: Pay Level 14 — basic pay Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200 per month
• Superintending Engineer (Civil): Pay Level 13 — basic pay Rs. 1,23,100 to Rs. 2,15,900 per month
• Assistant Controller of Examination, Executive Engineer (Electrical), Nursing Superintendent: Pay Level 11 — basic pay Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month
• Administrative Officer: Pay Level 10 — basic pay Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month
• Assistant Administrative Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer: Pay Level 7 — basic pay Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month
• All posts carry usual allowances (DA, HRA, TA) admissible to Central Government Employees at Rajkot, Gujarat
• Private practice of any kind is prohibited

Selection Process

Selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Shortlisting Based on Bio-data: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for further selection.
2. Interview: Final selection will be based on personal interview by the Selection Committee.
3. Document Verification: Original documents must be produced at the time of interview, including up-to-date APARs/ACRs of last 5 years, Vigilance Clearance, Integrity Certificate and statement of minor/major penalties (if any).

Note: Applications without Vigilance Clearance and attested copies of CR Dossiers will not be considered.

• Serve at rural health centres, urban health centres or other centres attached with the Institute as decided by AIIMS Rajkot
