King George's Medical University, U.P., Lucknow (KGMU) has released a notice inviting applications for 8 Medical Officer (Non-Teaching) posts on deputation basis from eligible officers serving in regular capacity under the State Government, Government of India, State Statutory/Autonomous Bodies or Universities. The recruitment covers three distinct designations — Medical Officer of Health (2), Lady Medical Officer (2), and Casualty Medical Officer (4). The deputation period is 3 years. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must hold an MBBS Degree.
• Service Requirement: You must be working in a State Government / Government of India / State Statutory Autonomous Body / University on a regular basis in an analogous post.
• Minimum Service: You must have completed at least 5 years of continuous and satisfactory service on a permanent post in your present organisation. Proof must be submitted with the application.
• Language: You must have excellent proficiency in speaking and writing Hindi and English, along with an aptitude for working in the medical service field.
• Lady Medical Officer (LMO): The post is exclusively for women candidates.
• Not Eligible: Candidates on contractual employment, working in private institutions, or working in a Grade-Pay higher than the prescribed grade for this post are not eligible.

Age Limit

• You must have at least 5 years of service left till your superannuation as on 20 July 2026.
• Candidates whose remaining service is less than 5 years on this date are not eligible to apply.

Salary

• All three posts carry Pay Level-10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix — approximately Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month.
• Pay fixation and other deputation benefits will be governed by the Uttar Pradesh Government deputation rules.
• Allowances (DA, HRA, TA) as per UP State Government rules.

Selection Process

There is no written exam for this recruitment. The selection is based on:

1. Screening of Applications: KGMU will scrutinise applications received through proper channel with NOC, Vigilance Clearance, Integrity Certificate, ACR/APAR (last 5 years), and Penalty Statement.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be informed separately about the venue, date, and time of the interview. Candidates must produce the No Objection Certificate from the deputation authority at the time of interview.
3. Document Verification: Original documents (ID proof, age proof, mark sheets, degrees, experience proof, ACRs) must be produced at the interview.

2. Fill the application form in clear handwriting / typed format and attach a passport-size colour photograph.
3. Write the name of the post applied for clearly on the envelope.
4. Attach self-certified copies of ID Proof (Aadhaar + PAN), address proof, matriculation/age proof, 10th & 12th certificates, MBBS degree, experience certificate, and ACRs of last 5 years.
5. Attach the NOC, Vigilance Clearance, Integrity Certificate, and Penalty Statement from your current employer.

• Provide medical care to patients in the assigned department / casualty / health unit of KGMU
• Examine patients, prescribe treatment, and follow standard medical protocols
• Maintain medical records, case sheets, and reports as per university rules
• Handle emergency duties and work in rotational shifts (especially for Casualty Medical Officers)
• Assist senior medical staff during rounds, procedures, and patient management
• Follow KGMU's clinical guidelines, biomedical waste protocols, and hospital safety norms
• Participate in health camps, awareness drives, and outreach activities when assigned
• Attend departmental meetings, training programmes, and submit periodic reports
