Suryapet AYUSH Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Office of the District Collector, Suryapet is hiring staff for the Department of AYUSH under the National AYUSH Mission (NAM). The people selected will run AYUSH public health programmes inside Suryapet District, working under the administrative control of the Director of AYUSH, Secunderabad. The state approved these outsourced services across Telangana through G.O.Rt.No.1508 dated 21 August 2026, and this notice fills only the share sanctioned for Suryapet through the District Selection Committee chaired by the Collector.

This is an outsourcing engagement, not a regular government job. The posts run until 31 March 2027, and any extension after that depends on need and on your performance. The posts range from a PG-qualified AYUSH doctor to a field-level Multi-Purpose Worker who only needs a Class VII pass, so candidates at very different stages can apply.

Posts and Disciplines

• AYUSH Doctor with PG Qualification: a specialist post for doctors holding a postgraduate degree in Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy or Naturopathy.
• AYUSH Medical Officer: for graduates of a recognised AYUSH degree course (Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy or Naturopathy) who have finished the one-year internship; one of the two posts falls on an SC (Group II) roster point.
• Dietician: for B.Sc Nutrition graduates who will support the diet and lifestyle side of the programme.
• Psychosocial Counselor: for MSW postgraduates; this is an on-call role paid per session, and the district may keep a panel of eligible candidates and call them as needed.
• Yoga Professional: open to holders of a Naturopathy degree or a Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences.
• Multi-Purpose Worker (MPW): a field post that needs only a Class VII pass and the ability to ride a bicycle or motorcycle; one of the two posts falls on an SC (Group II) roster point.

Post-wise Duties

AYUSH Doctor and AYUSH Medical Officer

You will treat patients using your AYUSH system and lead the public health activities of the National AYUSH Mission in the district, such as health camps and awareness drives.

Dietician and Yoga Professional

You will give diet advice and yoga sessions to people who come through the AYUSH programmes, helping them build healthier daily habits.

Psychosocial Counselor

You will be called in for counselling sessions when the programme needs you, and you are expected to make at least 200 visits a year.

Multi-Purpose Worker

You will do the field work of the programme, travelling around the district by bicycle or motorcycle to reach people and support the medical team.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The engagement is on outsourcing basis up to 31 March 2027; continuing after that depends on need and satisfactory performance.
• Local reservation: 95% of the posts follow the local-candidate rule under the Presidential Order, and community, disability and ex-servicemen reservation follows the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996.
• Unit of appointment: The AYUSH Doctor and AYUSH Medical Officer posts are multi-zonal cadre. You can apply in any district of your multi-zone, but you will be selected for only one district. The other four posts are district cadre.
• Registration: AYUSH Medical Officer applicants must attach their Board of Indian Medicine registration certificate.
• Merit list: The district will put the merit list on its website, and the final selection follows the reservation roster.

The office accepts forms only between 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM on working days. The selection committee is not responsible for postal delays, so post your form early.
