How the By Transfer Route Works

These 7 posts are filled only from staff already working in the Kerala Homoeopathy Department. Appointments are made in a fixed 5:1:1:1 ratio between direct recruitment and transfer from Nurses, Pharmacists and Clerks. If there are not enough qualified by-transfer candidates when a vacancy comes up, that post is filled by direct recruitment from the open quota, and the backlog is not carried forward. The ranked list prepared from this notification stays valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years, and candidates are advised from it as and when vacancies are reported to the Commission.

Who Can Apply?

• Degree: You must hold a Degree in Homoeopathy (BHMS) from any University in Kerala, or a qualification recognised as equivalent (including those in the Second Schedule of the Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973).
• Internship: You must have successfully completed your House Surgency / Internship.
• Registration: You need an 'A' class Registration with the Registrar of the Travancore Cochin Medical Council, Kerala.
• Current job: You must be an approved probationer or full member serving as a Nurse (Homoeo), Pharmacist (Homoeo) or Clerk in the Kerala Homoeopathy Department. This is a By Transfer recruitment, so open-market candidates cannot apply.
• Equivalent qualifications: Qualifications the Government recognises as equivalent (under Rule 10(a)(ii), Part II of the KS&SSR) are also accepted; you may be asked to produce the relevant government order.

Age Limit

• No age limit applies for this recruitment, because it is filled by transfer from existing government staff.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a pay of Rs. 55,200 to Rs. 1,15,300 per month.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Kerala Government rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is by transfer and is based on service seniority:

1. Ranked List by Seniority: Candidates are placed in a ranked list based on strict seniority in service. Rules of reservation do not apply to by-transfer appointments.
2. Service Certificate and Document Verification: You must upload a Service Certificate signed by your Head of Department and produce the original at verification.

If the Commission decides to hold a written, OMR or online test, you must confirm through your One Time Registration profile that you will write the exam. Only candidates who confirm can download the admission ticket, which is available up to 15 days before the test.
