The Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) has released a notification (Category No. 054/2026) for direct recruitment to the post of Confidential Assistant in the Kerala Live Stock Development Board Ltd. The number of vacancies is anticipated, which means candidates will be advised from the ranked list against vacancies reported while the list is active. 4% of the vacancies are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, and 25% of the total vacancies are set aside for recruitment by transfer. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a B.A / B.Sc / B.Com degree from a recognised university, or an equivalent qualification.
• Typing & Shorthand: You must have passed Typewriting and Shorthand (English and Malayalam) Lower (KGTE / MGTE), or any other qualification recognised by the Government as equivalent.
• Qualifications declared by the Government as equivalent or higher are also accepted. You must show the relevant Government order when the Commission asks for it.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 40 years old. Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included) can apply.
• Age Relaxation: Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates get the usual age relaxation as per Kerala PSC rules. However, the maximum upper age limit will not go beyond 50 years in any case.
• Provisional hands working in the concern get relaxation up to 5 years based on their provisional service, if they were within the age limit at first appointment. Regular employees of the concern do not get this benefit.

Salary

• The pay scale for this post is Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 45,800 per month.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per the rules of the Kerala Live Stock Development Board Ltd and the Kerala Government.

Selection Process

Kerala PSC will prepare a ranked list of selected candidates. The selection is done in these steps:

1. Written / OMR / Online Test: If a test is held, only candidates who have the required qualification (as per the notification) must confirm through their One Time Registration profile that they will write the exam, and then download the admission ticket in the last 15 days before the test.
2. Certificate Verification: You will need to produce original documents for qualification, age and community when called.

The ranked list stays valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. Candidates are advised from this list against vacancies reported while the list is active.
