Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) Store Keeper Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) has released a notification (Category No. 049/2026) for the post of Store Keeper in Oil Palm India Ltd. This is a direct recruitment for one existing vacancy. If you are a diploma holder in mechanical engineering with hands-on tool room and stores experience, this is a good chance to get a stable public sector job in Kerala. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: You need 3 years of experience in the engineering unit of a firm registered under the Companies Act 1956, working in the tool room with exposure to inventory control. This experience can be from Central/State Government service, a Public Sector Undertaking, or a registered private sector undertaking.
• Your experience must be gained after you got your diploma and before the last date to apply.
• You must upload the experience certificate (in the prescribed format) at the time of applying, or your application will be rejected.
• Qualifications declared by the Government as equivalent or higher than a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering are also accepted. You must show the relevant Government order when the Commission asks for it.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 40 years old. Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included) can apply.
• Age Relaxation: Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates get the usual age relaxation as per Kerala PSC rules.
• Provisional hands working in Oil Palm India Ltd get relaxation up to 5 years based on their provisional service, if they were within the age limit at first appointment. Regular employees of the concern do not get this benefit.

Salary

• The pay scale for this post is Rs. 35,600 to Rs. 75,400 per month.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per the rules of Oil Palm India Ltd and the Kerala Government.

Selection Process

Kerala PSC will prepare a ranked list of selected candidates. The selection is done in these steps:

1. Written / OMR / Online Test: If a test is held for this selection, you must confirm through your One Time Registration profile that you will write the exam, and then download your admission ticket in the last 15 days before the test.
2. Certificate Verification: You will need to produce original documents for qualification, experience, age and community when called.

The ranked list stays valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. Candidates are advised from this list against the vacancy above and against any new vacancies reported while the list is active.
