Who Can Apply?

- Entomologist: M.Sc or Ph.D in Entomology (Vector Biology), with skills in vector surveillance analytics, climate-linkage modelling and entomological risk mapping.
- Data Scientist: M.Sc or PhD in Data Science, M.Tech in Data Science, or Executive PG in Data Science & AI from an IIT, with at least 3 years of public-health experience using machine-learning algorithms.
- Data Engineer: B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Monitoring & Evaluation Manager: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or Public Informatics.
- Programme Management Unit (Support Staff): Postgraduate degree in MSW, IT, Computer Science, Health, Administration or Management.
Age Limit
- General/OC candidates can be up to 42 years old as on the date of notification (12 June 2026).
- Age Relaxation: EWS, SC, ST and BC candidates can apply up to 47 years, Ex-servicemen up to 50 years, and differently-abled candidates up to 52 years.
Salary
- Selected candidates will get a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 2,50,000, depending on the post.
- The Programme Management Unit (Support Staff) post pays around Rs. 1,00,000 per month, while specialist roles like Entomologist and Data Scientist pay more.

Selection Process
Candidates are selected on merit and the rule of reservation, through two stages:
- Qualifying Examination: Carries 80 marks.
- Technical Interview: Carries 20 marks.

Responsibilities
- Analyse disease surveillance data and prepare regular reports for health authorities
- Build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards and systems for real-time monitoring
- Carry out vector surveillance, entomological risk mapping and climate-linkage modelling
- Apply machine-learning models to detect outbreaks and predict disease spread
- Monitor and evaluate programme performance against set targets
- Coordinate with district health teams and support the Programme Management Unit
- Turn raw data into clear insights that guide disease-control decisions
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Postgraduate degree (M.Sc / M.Tech / MSW / PhD) in a relevant discipline
