The Directorate of Secondary Health (formerly APVVP), Government of Andhra Pradesh, through the District Coordinator of Hospital Services (DCHS), Palnadu District, has released Notification No. 01/2026 to fill 22 supporting staff posts in secondary health hospitals. All posts are on an outsourcing (third-party agency) basis. Selection is based purely on merit — there is no written exam, so 10th pass candidates from Palnadu district have a fair chance.

Vacancy Details

Who Can Apply?

• General Duty Attendant / FNO / MNO, Post Mortem Assistant, Office Subordinate, Theatre Assistant: You must have passed 10th class (SSC) or equivalent from a recognised board.
• Lab Attendant: You must have passed 10th class (SSC) and hold a Lab Attendant Course or Intermediate (Lab Attendant Vocational Course) from a recognised institution in Andhra Pradesh.
• Local candidates: This recruitment is only for Palnadu district. Candidates applying from outside Palnadu district will be treated as non-local.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 42 years old as on 1 July 2026.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates, 3 years for Ex-servicemen (plus their length of service), and 10 years for differently abled persons.
• The maximum age limit with all relaxations put together is 52 years.

Salary

• All selected candidates get a fixed remuneration of Rs. 15,000 per month.
• These are outsourcing posts, so the pay is a consolidated amount fixed by the government.

Application Fee

• OC (General) candidates: Rs. 350
• SC / ST / BC / EWS candidates: Rs. 250
• Physically challenged candidates: No fee

If you apply for more than one post, you must pay the fee separately for each post. Fee is paid to the DCHS Palnadu bank account by demand draft or bank transfer.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done on a merit basis out of 100 marks, following roster points:

1. Qualifying Exam Marks (75%): Based on the aggregate marks you scored in your qualifying examination.
2. Experience Weightage (up to 10 marks): 1 mark for each completed year after acquiring the required qualification.
3. Service Weightage (up to 15%): For candidates who worked on contract/outsourcing basis, including COVID-19 service, with extra weightage for tribal, rural and urban service.
4. Counselling and Document Verification: The merit list is prepared and counselling is held following roster points.

How to Apply

1. Download the application proforma from the Palnadu district website palnadu.ap.gov.in.
2. Fill in the form and attach self-attested copies of your certificates.
3. Submit the physical application at the DCHS office, Old Area Hospital, Palnadu Road, Narasaraopet.
4. Applications are accepted from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM on working days.
5. Submit before 5:00 PM on 7 July 2026 and collect a dated acknowledgement.

Only physical applications are accepted. Applications sent by any other mode will not be considered.

• Assist doctors and nursing staff with day-to-day patient care duties
• Help move and support patients within the hospital wards
• Keep hospital wards, labs and operation theatres clean and ready
• Support lab and post-mortem procedures as assigned by the post
• Carry samples, records and files between hospital departments
• Follow hospital hygiene, safety and duty roster rules
• Work in shifts including night duty when required
