Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) is hiring a Skilled Assistant on a temporary daily wage basis at the Agronomic Research Station, Chalakkudy. If you have a Diploma in Agriculture, VHSE Agriculture, or B.Voc Agriculture and are below 40 years of age, you can attend the walk-in interview. The walk-in is scheduled for 4 June 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Agricultural Research Centre, Chalakkudy. Daily wage is Rs. 750 per day for working from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), through its Agronomic Research Station at Chalakkudy (No. A.RS/B/534/13 dated 20.05.2026), has issued a correction notification calling for applications for a temporary daily-wage Skilled Assistant. The selected candidate will help with the sales counter (billing and packing of seeds/produce) and other related jobs at the research station. Local candidates within a 15 km radius of Chalakkudy will be given preference, and computer knowledge is desirable.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Diploma in Agriculture OR VHSE Agriculture OR B.Voc Agriculture from a recognised institution.
• Preference: Candidates living in Chalakkudy or within a 15 km radius of the research station will be preferred.
• Desirable: Computer knowledge.

Age Limit

• You should be below 40 years of age.

Salary

• Daily wage: Rs. 750 per day.
• Working hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• This is a temporary daily-wage engagement; no other allowances are payable.
