Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) is hiring a Project Research Scientist-1 for a sponsored research project in its Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering (BSBE). The project is titled "Understanding the host metabolome to formulate effective diagnostics against dengue virus infection", and it is led by Dr. Sachin Kumar as Principal Investigator.

The work looks at how the human body's metabolism changes during dengue infection, with the aim of building better diagnostic tests. If you have worked with mammalian cell culture, virology, recombinant DNA or immunology during your postgraduate studies, you will have an edge, because the institute prefers candidates with this hands-on lab background.
